A: The life of your natural lash. BCT recommend getting a refill every 3-4 weeks to keep them looking nice and full.

Q: How long does it take to apply a full set of lash extensions?
A: Approximately 2 hours depending on the amount of lashes required.

Q.Are eyelash extensions safe when pregnant?
A.We use a high-quality adhesive for cosmetic use near the eye, and the adhesive does not actually ever touch your skin – as the extensions are glued to the eyelash hairs. In saying this, BCT does not recommend this during pregnancy. The reasons are the lash extension procedure requires you to lay flat on your back for over one hour.

Q: Eyelash extension aftercare?
A: Keep your lashes dry for at least 5 hours (24 hours is ideal) after application.
*No swimming, steam rooms or saunas for 24 hours.
*Use only water based makeup removers and cleansers
*No waterproof mascara.
*No eyelash curlers on your eyelash extensions. Avoid rubbing or touching your eyelash extensions.
*Please remove all eye makeup prior to your appointment.
*Contact lenses cannot be worn during the treatment, as your eyes will be closed while the eyelash extensions are being applied.

Q. If I had cosmetic surgery on my eyes, can I still have eyelash extensions?
A. Yes. But it is recommended to wait 6 months post cosmetic surgery.

Q. If I had cosmetic tattoo done to my eyes, can I still have eyelash extensions?
A. Yes. But it is recommend to wait 6 months post cosmetic tattooing.

Q. If I had LASIK eye surgery done, can I still have eyelash extensions?
A.Yes. But it is recommend to wait 6 months post LASIK surgery.

Q.If I had lash perming/tinting done, can I still have eyelash extensions?
A. Yes. But it is recommended to wait 3 months as this gives time for the lash growth cycle to renew.

Q.Can I wear make up having my eyelashes applied?
A: The eyelashes must be clean and clear of all makeup and oils.

Q: Can I use eye makeup remover?
A: Only water based remover or cleanser may be used.

Q.How often will I need a refill?
A.Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. That said, because each person’s lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth), BTC　suggest maintenance every three to four weeks to maintain.

Q. Can I do refills from another salon?
A. Unfortunately we don’t because it is not safe to use different adhesive glue.

Q. Do you do removal of eyelash extensions from another salon?
A.Yes, we do. In some cases we will not be able to remove it. This is because sometimes the application has not been applied correctly (too close to the eyelid). Therefore it is unsafe to be removed here.
